Mustard seed gold yellow is a special type of mustard, which is often referred to as white mustard. It arises from the inside of the pods of a herbaceous plant that grows mainly in southern Europe and a related genus also in China. The plant becomes about one meter high.
The harvest is usually in early autumn, when the seeds are literally knocked out of the bulkheads and thus obtained.
The golden yellow mustard seed is odorless and only develops its spicy, sharp and slightly nutty aroma when you enjoy it. The mustard seed is the basis for the production of the actual mustard. The whole grains can be used to refine many dishes. This is because they mostly belong to the mild genus. Meat such as beef and pork dishes, poultry, fish, sausage and pickling in particular benefit from all the mustard seeds. They also use grills for barbecue sauces and marinades. Fans of aspic and pickled cucumbers also use them for refining or pickling. It is therefore not surprising that mustard seed gold yellow is so popular with national chefs in this country.
